Shayne Hope

Shayne Hope is an experienced journalist with a strong background in sports reporting and media content coordination. Currently serving as a journalist at the Australian Associated Press since November 2019, Shayne previously held roles as Media and Content Coordinator for South East Melbourne Phoenix and as a football reporter for KRock & BayFM Radio Stations. Additional experience includes being a football columnist for Footyology, a senior sports reporter for Seven West Media, and on-air talent for 91.3 SportFM. Shayne's career also encompasses reporting for the AFL, Inside Football, and serving as a communications assistant for Basketball WA. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Curtin University.
