Jo Masters is a highly experienced economist, currently serving as the Director at CEDA and Chief Economist at Barrenjoey, while also being an Executive Committee Member for Australian Business Economists. Jo has a robust background in economic analysis and advisory, having previously held the position of Chief Economist at EY, where the focus was on integrating macroeconomic discussions into business strategies. Additional experience includes a Senior Economist role at ANZ, where Jo led research on critical economic indicators, and a notable tenure at Macquarie Group as Currency Strategist, specializing in G7 and commodity currencies. Jo holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from The University of Auckland.
