Alaa Hamdouna

Alaa Hamdouna is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in telecommunications and project management. Currently serving as an APS Technical Officer in the Licence Allocation Section at the Australian Communications and Media Authority since May 2024, Alaa has previously held positions as an ITS Engineer at Transurban, Design Engineer at Indra, and Transport Senior Service Manager at Sydney Metro. Experience includes significant contributions to various major projects, such as the Doha Metro and Sydney Metro, with expertise in system design, testing, and commissioning. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering from Monash University, a Master's in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Diploma in Project Management.
