Troy Steer (GAICD) currently serves as the Director of Corporate Affairs and Public Policy at the Australian Computer Society (ACS) since October 2017. Prior to this role, Troy held key positions in various organizations, including Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing at KinCare, Director of Communications at Barangaroo Delivery Authority, and Senior Communications Manager at Westpac. Additional experience includes communications management roles at KPMG, Qantas, Queensland Government, Powerlink Queensland, and MBF (now Bupa). Troy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations from Queensland University of Technology and is an alumnus of St Joseph's Nudgee College.
