Nicole Byron

Nicole Byron currently serves as the Relations and Interoperability Manager at Defence Australia, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Nicole was employed at Universities Australia as a Policy Analyst and Program Manager for International and Security from July 2023 to October 2024. Nicole began the year 2023 as a Research and Administration Officer at The Institute for Regional Security and previously completed a Policy Intern position with the Australian Industry Greenhouse Network. Additional experience includes an International Trade Intern role at The Embassy of Ecuador and a Project Intern position with the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations from the University of Canberra, completed in November 2022.
