Jenny Da Rin has a decade of extensive experience in diplomacy and international relations, serving as Australia’s High Commissioner to Kenya at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from November 2013 to November 2023. In this role, responsibilities included managing bilateral relations with Pacific Island countries and overseeing public policy and program management. Prior to this, Da Rin held the position of Chargée d’affaires a.i. at the Australian Embassy in Ethiopia, covering multiple regions including Djibouti and the Republic of South Sudan. Da Rin has experience as Minister Counsellor (interim) at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and served as an Adviser to the Minister for Foreign Affairs within the Australian Government. Earlier career highlights include directing operations at the Australian Agency for International Development. Da Rin holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the Australian National University.
