Maree Ringland

Maree Ringland currently serves as an Ambassador at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade since March 2022. Prior to this role, Maree held the position of Director for Afghanistan Consular Support from August 2021 to November 2021 and was the Director of Communications and Culture at the National Foundation for Australia China Relations from November 2020 to August 2021. Between February 2016 and November 2020, Maree worked as Counsellor for Public Affairs and Culture at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Educational qualifications include a Combined Asian Studies/Law Degree (Honours) from The Australian National University and a Masters in International Relations from Monash University.
