Herbert Down

Herbert Down is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in clinical governance and digital health. Currently serving as Executive Branch Manager at the Australian Digital Health Agency, Herbert leads a diverse team focused on ensuring the delivery of safe and effective digital health products. Previous roles include Director of Partnering with Consumers and Project Manager at the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, where Herbert managed various medication safety projects. Other notable positions include Deputy Director of Pharmacy at Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals and Senior Clinical Pharmacist at MacQuarie University Private Hospital Pharmacy. Herbert holds a BSc in Pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin and an Executive Fellowship in Leadership in Public Service from ANZSOG, alongside additional leadership training from Harvard Kennedy School.
