Dr. Sudipto Roy

Dr. Sudipto Roy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in planning, design, and development, particularly in social and environmental sciences. Dr. Roy currently serves as Director - Consultant/Advisor at D4 Fourth Dimension since 2009, and holds multiple academic and research positions, including Researcher at Queensland Decarbonisation Hub and Expert on the Panel of Educators at the Australian Education Research Organisation. Additionally, Dr. Roy is a STEM Ambassador for the Queensland Government and has held faculty roles at various institutions, including Adjunct Professor at Birla Institute of Technology, Adjunct Faculty at the School of Planning and Architecture, and Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology. Dr. Roy’s research interests encompass smart cities, climate resilience, and landscape architecture, contributing to national education and industry standards through active involvement with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects. Dr. Roy's educational background includes advanced degrees in Landscape Architecture and Architecture from prestigious institutions in India and Australia.
