Lisa O'Brien

Lisa O'Brien currently serves as the Non Executive Chairman of the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) since March 2021 and as a Non Executive Director at Bupa Australia & New Zealand since September 2014. Additionally, Lisa holds the position of Council Member at the University of Technology Sydney since March 2020. Previously, Lisa was the Chief Executive Officer of The Smith Family from February 2011 to March 2021 and served as a Non Executive Director for both the Community Council for Australia and Social Ventures Australia between 2011 and June 2020. Lisa's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia from January 2006 to January 2011. Academically, Lisa O'Brien earned an MBBS (hons) in Medicine, an MBA in Business Administration, an FRACMA in Health Services Management, and a degree in Human Resource Management and Coaching from the University of Sydney, along with completing the Graduate program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
