Michael Bernerius is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event management, coaching, and customer service. Currently serving as an Underground team member at Byrnecut since September 2023, Michael has maintained a long-term position with Australian Event Safety Service, providing lifeguard and first aid operations since January 2019. Previous roles include Service and Support Manager at WaterRower Australia, where oversight of service and customer inquiries in the Asia Pacific region was a key responsibility, and Senior GPS 3rd & 4th Four Rowing Coach at SHORE, developing competitive rowers. Michael has also held senior coaching positions at Loreto Kirribilli and North Sydney Girls High School, coordinating rowing programs and coaching crews to achieve podium finishes. Additionally, Michael’s background includes event coordination and management across several companies, showcasing strong skills in logistics, client management, and team leadership. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Consumer Behaviour from the University of California, Berkeley.
