Peter Boni

Peter Boni has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1999 at Bankwest, they worked as an IT Specialist and Systems Analyst before moving on to positions such as Senior IT Specialist, Software Architect, and Head of Software Architecture. At Bankwest, they played a key role in defining the technology transformation program and creating the Bankwest Platform Reference Architecture. In 2010, Peter co-founded a tech startup called Redistore, where they developed an online store management system. In 2014, they founded another startup called Direct Mode, where they built and managed a web-based SaaS for activity enrolment. Peter currently holds the position of Head of Architecture at AFG, where they are responsible for overseeing architectural strategies and solutions.

Peter Boni holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Edith Cowan University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group in September 2018, AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2018.
