Aila Pera

Aila Pera has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Regional Administration and Operations Coordinator at the AFL - Australian Football League since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Participant Coordinator at AFL Victoria from May 2021 to January 2023. Before joining the AFL, Aila served as an Operations Officer at Broadmeadows Basketball from July 2018 to April 2021. In February 2018, they briefly worked as a Program Assistant at the National Rugby League. Additionally, Aila had a part-time role as an Assistant Project Officer at NRL Victoria from October 2017 to March 2018, where they also completed a student internship from April 2017 to November 2017. Aila began their professional journey as a Competitions Coordinator at Mernda Dragons Rugby League and Touch Association from October 2017 to March 2018. Aila's earliest work experience was as a Storeman at Symbion Pty Ltd, where they started in January 2014 and ended in January 2018.

Aila Pera obtained their Bachelor of Business degree in Sport Management from La Trobe University. Aila attended the university from 2013 to 2017.
