Bec Haagsma

Bec Haagsma is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product and technology leadership across various sectors, including media, telecommunications, and sports. Currently serving as the Executive General Manager of Customer and Commercial at the AFL since February 2025, Bec previously held pivotal roles at Nine as Chief Product and Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer, and as a Non-Executive Director at both Domain and Future Women. Prior experience at Telstra includes leading strategic partnerships and executive responsibilities in media and product innovation, as well as managing high-profile streaming products. Bec's career also features significant contributions at Nine Entertainment Co. and ninemsn, where transformations in digital media and product portfolios were successfully driven. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Political Science from UNSW and executive education from Harvard Business School.
