Simon Highfield

Simon Highfield is an experienced professional in international development within the sports sector, currently serving as the International Development Manager for Asia, Europe, and the Americas at the AFL - Australian Football League since April 2018. Prior roles at AFL include Asia Development Manager and South Pacific Development Coordinator. Highfield's career began with AFL Fiji as Development Manager from May 2016 to March 2018 and with AFL Solomon Islands in the same capacity from May 2015 to April 2016. Additionally, Highfield worked as a Health & Physical Education Teacher at St Paul's High School for a brief period and held the position of Development Officer at AFL from June 2011 to April 2015. Highfield holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Health & Physical Education from the University of Newcastle, completed between 2011 and 2014.
