Simon Wirth has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Simon began their career at Accenture, where they worked as a Manager from 1999 to 2003. Simon then joined National Australia Bank (NAB), where they held various roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, Functional Delivery Lead, Release Manager, Program Director, and Product Owner. During their time at NAB, Simon was involved in numerous projects and programs aimed at improving customer experience, implementing business strategies, and driving organizational efficiency. Simon'sachievements include leading a large team in the delivery of a core banking origination platform and successfully selling the NAB Life Insurance Business. In 2018, Simon pursued a career transition and engaged in self-exploration, aiming to bring their leadership and coaching skills to a new industry, potentially the sporting industry. In 2019, they joined the Australian Football League (AFL) as a Project Manager in the Customer Technology department and was later promoted to the role of Head of Technology Planning and Delivery in 2020.
Simon Wirth attended Swinburne University of Technology from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Accounting and Computing.
