Michelle Farquhar

Michelle Farquhar is the Head at the Australian Industry Group since February 2024 and serves as a Sessional Member at the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Active in the fashion industry, Michelle has held a position at Fashion Council Queensland since April 2021 and has been the Deputy Chair of the Brisbane Portrait Prize since February 2018, contributing to the establishment of significant cultural infrastructure in Queensland. Previously, Michelle was the Manager at the Australian Energy Market Operator, focusing on internal communications and hydrogen strategy, and held various roles at Queensland Health aimed at promoting diversity and women in leadership. Additionally, Michelle worked as the State Development Manager for the Breast Cancer Network Australia and as an Educator and team leader in the Queensland Department of Education.
