Michael Ford serves as the Principal in the Office of the CEO at the Australian Institute for Teaching & School Leadership (AITSL), providing strategic leadership and advice on a range of topics including government relations, policy, and corporate governance since October 2019. Previous roles include Senior Policy and Project Officer where Michael led the Australian Teacher Workforce Data initiative, and Ministerial Adviser for the Victorian Government, assisting various ministries with policy support and parliamentary preparation. With a foundation in community sector management and development from Victoria University and RMIT University, alongside specialized certificates from prestigious institutions, Michael brings extensive expertise in governance, project management, and stakeholder engagement across both public and not-for-profit sectors.
