Nouri Groom

Nouri lives and breathes numbers and decimals; as the National Finance Manager, his job is to report to management and stakeholders providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.

His role includes collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information, creating financial reports and developing long-term business plans and strategies to minimise financial risk. The role also involves analysing market trends and competitors to predict future financial trends, identify business opportunities, and improve profitability.

Nouri has broad accounting and financial reporting experience, with exposure to leadership roles with some of the largest mining and infrastructure companies in Australia, including Shell-operated QGC, Glencore owned Mount Isa Mines and Brisbane Airport Corporation. Nouri is constantly looking for efficiencies through procurement resulting in cost savings, or by embracing digital technology to ensure the Australian Institute of Fitness remains competitive in the fitness industry.
