Edward Brooks is a highly experienced professional in the field of sports science and physiology, currently serving as a Senior Physiologist at the Australian Institute of Sport since March 2022. Prior roles include Analyst for the Victorian Government, Recovery Centre staff during the Australian Open at Tennis Australia, and Research Fellow at Deakin University's Centre for Sports Research. Edward has also held academic positions at Swinburne University of Technology and RMIT University, along with practical experience as a Sports Scientist for Collingwood Football Club and various coaching and analytical roles in cricket and football settings. Edward holds a PhD in Applied Sports Science from Deakin University and possesses Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Applied Science from RMIT University.
