With over 20 years’ experience, Niral joins the Australian International School as our new Deputy Head of Elementary. Having previously worked with children and adults within the public and private sectors in Auckland, London, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, Chicago, Dubai and Hong Kong, Niral is excited to be joining the AIS Community. Originally from Auckland (New Zealand), Niral feels privileged to have served within a range of roles including Classroom Teacher, Director of IT, Education Reform Project Adviser, Deputy Head, Database Manager and PYP Coordinator. As a passionate educator, Niral believes the Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an excellent framework that helps to prepare students to become internationally-minded global citizens that can make a positive difference to the world.
In her spare time, Niral loves to explore the world and immerse herself into the local customs and culture. She is an avid fan of rugby (supporting the All Blacks of course), basketball and motorsports. Niral is looking forward to exploring Singapore and establishing positive relationships with all the members of the Australian International School Community.
