Dr Samrat Ghosh

Dr. Samrat Ghosh is an accomplished academic and maritime professional currently serving as the Associate Head of Future Students at the Australian Maritime College since April 2022, where Dr. Ghosh provides strategic advice to the Principal and fosters a culture of excellence and innovation. In addition, Dr. Ghosh holds the position of Head of Learning and Assessment at Capability Co, advising on credential validation and developing policies for assessment services while also serving as a Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator at the University of Tasmania since 2010. Dr. Ghosh's extensive maritime experience includes a decade as a Master Mariner with Pacific International Lines. Dr. Ghosh earned a PhD in Authentic Assessment in Seafarer Education from the University of Tasmania, along with a Master's in International Business and an MBA in Maritime and Logistics Management, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science.
