Adrian Davidson

Adrian Davidson is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in program and operational management within government and private sectors. Currently serving as a Program Manager at the Australian Maritime Safety Authority since April 2010, Adrian oversees the National Indigenous Maritime Engagement and Development program and leads stakeholder negotiations for program expansion. Prior to this role, Adrian was the Liaison Manager at AMSA, managing the Thursday Island Office and the Multi Agency Torres Strait Marine Safety Program. Previous positions include Compliance Field Operations Coordinator at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, where Adrian managed field operations and vessel fleets, and Master/Manager at Reef Pontoons Pty Limited, operating luxury motor yachts along the Australian East Coast. Adrian's early career includes serving in various roles within the Queensland Police Service, including Water Police, where Adrian promoted maritime safety across Torres Strait Island communities. Adrian's foundational education was acquired at Kenmore High School between 1986 and 1990.
