Derek Walker

Derek Walker has a background in Indigenous education and community development, having served as an Indigenous Education Assistant at the Australian Museum. Prior to this role, Derek worked as an Aboriginal Community Development Officer at Auburn City Council in Sydney from February 2011 to August 2012, and held the position of Programs Manager at AIME from November 2010 to February 2011. Educationally, Derek completed the Higher School Certificate (HSC) at Grafton High School and Matraville High School.
