Anthony Longhurst

Anthony Longhurst holds extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Senior Master and Assistant Fleet Manager of Operations at the Australian National Maritime Museum since June 2005, where responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of HMB Endeavour and overseeing major projects such as the complete replacement of standing rigging. Previous roles include various positions spanning several maritime organizations, including 1st Mate and Shipwright at Cottage Point Boatshed, Rigger at HMAV Bounty, and Boatswain aboard HMBark Endeavour. Longhurst has achieved certifications in coastal maritime operations, shipwright trade, and advanced rigging, supplemented by ongoing education in marine operations at Brookvale TAFE.
