Peter Hobbins

Peter Hobbins is currently the Acting Head of Content at the Australian National Maritime Museum, overseeing exhibitions, research, and acquisitions. Peter was previously a Principal at Artefact Heritage Services Pty Ltd and a Senior Communications Officer at the National Archives of Australia. With a strong background in history and archaeology, Peter has also held positions at the University of Sydney, State Library of New South Wales, and Department of History. Peter's academic achievements include a PhD in History from the University of Sydney and a Master of Medical Humanities with Merit. Peter's passion for public history is evident in their extensive research and writing endeavors throughout their career.
