Todd Day is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in sports and entertainment management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Australian Olympic Committee since September 2017, Todd has previously held key financial roles at the Australian Rugby Union as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Manager of Super Rugby from July 2010 to April 2022. Todd's extensive experience also includes serving as CFO for NSW Rugby Union and NSW Waratahs Ltd from April 2005 to July 2010, and financial leadership roles at Southern Star Entertainment, Grundy Organization, and Coopers & Lybrand. Todd holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from Macquarie University (1989-1992).

The AOC is committed to developing, promoting and protecting the principles of Olympism and the Olympic Movement in Australia in accordance with the Olympic Charter. The AOC is committed to Australia's athletes and encourages the development of high performance sport through athlete support and funding initiatives. It is our responsibility to select, send and fund Australian Teams to the Olympic Summer and Winter Games, Youth Olympic Games and Regional Games. The AOC is dedicated to the education of Australia's youth and runs a number of programs through all levels of school, including the Olympics Unleashed program and the Australian Olympic Change-Maker program. The AOC is a non-profit organisation, independent of Government and Government funding other than contributions by State Governments to the Olympic Team Appeal. The AOC is an Incorporated Association whose members are the national bodies of sports on the Olympic program. State Olympic Councils represent the AOC in every State and Territory.
