Project Engineer at Australian Potash

Valentyna Butenko has over a decade of work experience in engineering and project management. In 2009, they began their career as a Civil/Structural Engineer at Emerson Stewart Group Ltd. In 2006, they worked as a Project Engineer/Engineer/Designer/Civil/Structural Draftsperson at Straits Resources Ltd. In 2010, they moved to Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited (ex Central Ashanti Gold Limited) as a Project Engineer. Valentyna then worked at Perseus Mining Limited, Subiaco, Western Australia as a Project Controls Engineer from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they took on the role of Projects Administrator at Strategic Asset Investments Pty Ltd. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Logistics Engineer at Syrah Resources Limited, where they provided technical support to the Project Development team. In 2018, they joined CPC Project Design as a Projects Engineer/Logistics, where they strategically planned and managed all logistics activities. In 2019, they became a Project Expeditor at Fortescue Metals Group. Currently, they are a Project Engineer at Australian Potash Limited.

Valentyna Butenko attended Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport, Ukraine from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a BSc Communications Engineer majoring in Bridges and Transport Tunnels. Prior to that, they attended Boarding School No 2, Kerch, Crimea AR, RF from 1974 to 1984.
