Paul Veerhuis

Paul Veerhuis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the banking and regulatory sectors. Currently serving as a Director at Scotch Oakburn College and Self Help Workplace since 2024 and 2023 respectively, Paul has held various significant roles at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) since 2016, including Senior Manager in the Banking Division and Acting General Manager. Prior to this, Paul was an Executive Manager at Commonwealth Bank, overseeing capital management and regulatory strategy, and held key positions at APRA, leading Basel III implementation in Australia. Paul's early career included roles at Westpac as a Quantitative Risk Specialist and Senior Analyst. Paul holds a Master of Financial Mathematics from UNSW and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Wollongong.
