Michaela Carr

Michaela Carr is a seasoned journalist and media professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Journalist at ARN since July 2023, and as a Presenter at 96FM since December 2022, Michaela also operates as an Emcee and Celebrant through michaelacarr.com.au since January 2021. As the Owner and Director of Broadcast Gurus since November 2018, Michaela has demonstrated leadership in the broadcasting field. Previous roles include Presenter at Radio 6PR Perth Pty Ltd (November 2020 - December 2022), and an extensive tenure at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) from January 1997 to October 2020, where responsibilities included Network Producer, Journalist, Radio Producer, Presenter, and Reporter. Early career highlights include serving as a State Political Reporter for Southern Cross Austereo (1989 - 1996) and as a Journalist at 2GB (1988 - 1989).
