David Wynd

CEO at Australian Rail Technology

David Wynd is the current CEO at Australian Rail Technology. David has held this position since July 2016. Prior to that, they were the Non Executive Director at Rail Manufacturing CRC from March 2014 to July 2016. From August 2008 to July 2016, they were also with Faiveley Transport. From November 1999 to August 2008, David worked at Thales Australia where they were the Small Arms Development Group Manager. In this role, they were responsible for establishing a product development group at the Lithgow Small Arms Factory and for taking on the leadership and project management of the LAND 125 Lethality sub-system project. David has a long and successful history in the rail industry, and their experience and expertise have helped him to become the successful CEO that they are today.

David Wynd completed their undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours at Monash University. David then went on to complete their Masters of Engineering with Distinction in Design at Western Sydney University. David is a certified Chartered Professional Engineer from Engineers Australia and a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) from The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland.
