Mark Coates

Mark Coates is an accomplished technology and operations leader with extensive experience in various senior management roles. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Services and Operations at The Australian Red Cross Blood Service since February 2018, Mark has also held significant positions including Senior Manager of Technology Services & Operations and Interim Executive Director of ICT/CIO. Prior to this, Mark held the role of Director of Technology Operations and Chief Technology Officer at Monash Health, as well as roles within Computershare Australia and CenITex, among others. Mark's earlier career includes positions with the Australian Federal Government, ANZ, and the Royal Australian Navy, showcasing a diverse background in technical services and management. Mark's educational foundation includes studies at the Australian Institute of Management.
