Debbie Ashton

Debbie Ashton is an experienced professional in disaster management, currently serving as the Acting Coordinator for the Pillowcase Program QLD at the Australian Red Cross since April 2023. Previously, Debbie held the position of Disaster Management Officer at the City of Gold Coast from August 2006 to April 2016 and served as Project Manager for Northern Rivers Community Gateway, focusing on managing spontaneous volunteers in emergencies and disasters from November 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, Debbie has taken time for travel and other pursuits since July 2016, alongside the role of Activation Support Officer at the Australian Red Cross. Education includes completion of secondary studies at Shepparton High School.
