Ben Callard currently serves as the National General Manager - Club Support at Australian Sailing, a role encompassing strategy and operations across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, along with responsibilities in budget and risk management, and stakeholder engagement. As a Board Member of QSport, Ben contributes to the development of organized sport in Queensland. Since 2007, Ben has directed Ben Callard Coaching & Management, providing consultancy in coaching and management to various sailing teams and organizations. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Officer for Yachting Queensland Ltd., where Ben led strategic planning and operational management to enhance participation and funding in sailing. Other notable roles include Sailing Coach/Manager for the Australian Youth Olympic Team and Sailing Instructor at Keppel Bay Sailing Club. Ben holds a Bachelor of Sports Management from Bond University and a Graduate Diploma of Education from Griffith University.
