Simon McPhillips

Simon McPhillips has extensive experience in project management and operations within the sports sector, primarily with the Australian Sports Commission since August 2010. Currently serving as Project Manager for Operations, Simon is integral to the Sporting Schools team, focusing on program quality control and continuous improvement to enhance Australia’s largest school sport participation initiative. Previous roles include Team Leader at the Program Operations Centre, acting Project Manager, and Participation Advisor, where Simon collaborated with National Sporting Organisations to boost participation and resource development. Simon’s background also includes roles at Rolfe Honda as Executive Assistant, where sales performance was tracked, and at the Federal Golf Club as Assistant Professional, managing operations and teaching golf. Educationally, Simon holds multiple diplomas and certificates in sport and coaching from Griffith University and University of Canberra.
