Ben Kelly

Ben Kelly has extensive experience in tax policy and legislation, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner for Policy Analysis & Legislation at the Australian Taxation Office since October 2015. Prior roles at the Australian Taxation Office include Deputy Chief Tax Counsel, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Risk Officer, and Assistant Commissioner, specifically overseeing the Policy Integration team within the Integrated Tax Design business line. Before his tenure at the ATO, Ben Kelly was Principal Adviser at the Commonwealth Treasury from October 2013 to October 2015 and served as Assistant Commissioner and Senior Tax Counsel at the ATO from July 2010 to September 2013. Ben Kelly holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University, as well as a Master of Sport Management from Deakin University.
