Fercen Curapiaca

Fercen Curapiaca is a seasoned data engineering professional currently serving as the Data Engineering Director at the Australian Taxation Office since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Data Engineer and Innovation Lead at Mater Group, overseeing the design and implementation of data-driven solutions, and leading the Data Services team at Mater Health Services, managing over 1000 databases. Fercen also has significant experience as a Senior Database Administrator, Systems Specialist, and in various managerial and engineering roles across multiple organizations, including Informa and Guardian Industries. Fercen holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Universidad de Oriente, attained from 1995 to 2000.
