Sarah Welch possesses extensive experience in the Australian taxation and public service sectors, currently serving as the Acting Assistant Commissioner in the Tax Counsel Network at the Australian Taxation Office since January 2011. Sarah has held various roles within the Tax Counsel Network, progressing from Graduate Tax Lawyer to Senior Law Interpretation Specialist. In addition to these responsibilities, Sarah is the Committee Chair for the Tasmanian Committee of the Australian Government Leadership Network, focusing on leadership development within the public service. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute, and a Master's degree in Emergency Management from Charles Sturt University.
