Abu Ali Sarker

Abu Ali Sarker currently serves as the Trade and Investment Director at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) since October 2022, where the focus is on promoting Australian trade, investment, tourism, and education globally. Previously, Sarker led the vegetable portfolio as a Senior Product Executive at ACI SEED, concentrating on product management and international seed market development from August to November 2021. Prior to that role, Sarker was the International Business Lead at Lal Teer Seed Limited, the largest seed company in Bangladesh, from November 2017 to July 2021, facilitating partnerships to support farmers. Sarker's career began as a Client Servicing Executive at Purplebot Digital in 2017. Academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from North South University, alongside previous education in business/commercial studies at Notre Dame College and St. Joseph Higher Secondary School.
