Anastasia Nishnianidze

Anastasia (Ana) Nishnianidze is currently the Trade and Investment Director at City of London Corporation, responsible for leading initiatives to enhance trade and investment for the City and the UK. Prior to this role, Ana served as the Trade and Investment Commissioner for the UK and Ireland at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) from June 2015 to October 2024, where responsibilities included growing Australia's economic relationships and facilitating export opportunities across Europe. Additional roles at Austrade included Deputy General Manager, Strategy and Performance, Trade and Investment Commissioner in the US, Director of Strategy and Business Transformation, and Manager of Organisational Design and Workforce Planning. Ana's earlier experience includes positions at the Clean Energy Regulator and The Treasury in the Australian Government, alongside various roles at a range of companies. Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Canberra, as well as certifications in Training and Assessment, and Government.
