Hazel Flynn

Hazel Flynn is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience across various roles within the media and consultancy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Adviser in Employee Communications at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) since April 2021, Hazel previously held the position of Head of Editorial Content at Roy Morgan, collaborating closely with CEO Michele Levine to convey insights from social research. With a rich background as a freelance senior writer and editor at Flyman Partners, Hazel has contributed to a wide range of publications, including Reader's Digest, where notable editorial roles were undertaken. Additional experience includes consulting work with TELL Agency Australia for high-profile clients like NSW Treasury and NSW Health. Hazel's expertise in communication and editorial direction is further complemented by various presenting roles, including workshops at the Sydney Writers' Festival, and co-authoring a book on Alzheimer's.
