Michael McKay

Michael McKay is a seasoned economic professional with extensive experience in various government agencies in Australia. Currently serving as the Manager of Economics and Analysis at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission since July 2023, Michael previously held multiple principal and managerial roles focusing on economic analysis within the Department for Industry, Innovation and Science, the Department for Innovation and Skills, and other related departments from 2006 to 2023. Michael started as an Economist at the Commonwealth Treasury and has progressively taken on more senior positions, showcasing a strong background in economic policy and analysis. Michael holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2004.
