Brooke Conroy is a UAV Educator at Surf Life Saving NSW since October 2021, specializing in delivering SheMaps certified programs that teach drone operation to primary and secondary students. Brooke has experience as a UAV Pilot with the Australian UAV Service, focusing on shark spotting and flood response. Additionally, Brooke serves as a Research Assistant at the University of Wollongong, contributing to soil sediment laboratory analyses, estuary modeling and mapping, and vegetation mapping. Currently a PhD candidate, Brooke's research centers on measuring, mapping, and modeling mangrove sustainability along the Australian coast.
