Sebit Jacob serves as the Head of Sports Medicine and High Performance Unit at the South Sudan Basketball Federation since October 2020, overseeing a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing athletic performance, injury prevention, management, and the implementation of evidence-based protocols for the national team's roster. Additionally, Sebit Jacob has held the position of Lead Teacher at Parkville College under the Department of Education and Training since July 2018. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) at Monash University from January 2023 to 2025, Sebit Jacob previously earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Sports and Exercise from the University of South Australia in 2017.

Parkville College is a specialist Victorian Government School that provides education to students who are, or have been, detained in custody. Working in collaboration with the Department of Justice and Community Safety and the Department of Health and Human Services, we deliver education across five diverse campuses throughout Victoria. Parkville College operates 52 weeks a year and caters to some of the most disadvantaged students in the state.
