Felix Schernhammer

Felix Schernhammer has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Felix started their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at Smart Information Systems. In 2008, they joined Vienna University of Technology as a University Assistant. After that, they worked at Austrian Power Grid AG, holding various roles including IT Project and Application Manager from 2011 to 2017, IT Team Lead Energy Applications from 2018 to 2021, and currently as the Head of IT Applications since January 2022.

Felix Schernhammer received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering from Vienna University of Technology in 2005. Felix then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Intelligence, which they completed in 2007, also at Vienna University of Technology. Continuing their education, Felix obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Equational Programming/Program Verification from Vienna University of Technology in 2011.
