Helmut Niessner

Helmut Niessner, PhD, currently serves as a Prüfer/Auditor for Austrian Standards since January 2024, focusing on person certification in artificial intelligence management. Previously, Helmut Niessner held the position of Einsatzleiter at Samariterbund Wien from March 2020 to April 2022, overseeing COVID-19 pandemic response efforts across various facilities. An academic background includes serving as an external lecturer at the University of Vienna from October 2010 to February 2019, teaching data analysis and simulations in healthcare, alongside research on European health systems during crises as part of the EU project "S-HELP." Earlier career experiences include roles as IT project manager at BRAINTRUST MARKETING SERVICES and Senior Information Technology Project Manager at Junior Enterprises Europe.
