Kartik Mohta

Kartik Mohta is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in motion planning and robotics. Currently serving as the Director of Motion Planning at Autel Robotics since December 2018, Kartik has been instrumental in designing and developing a comprehensive motion planning stack for aerial robots, enhancing navigation capabilities while ensuring obstacle avoidance. Prior to this role, Kartik held positions as Tech Lead for Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) and Motion Planning, and Research Scientist, contributing to the development of advanced visual SLAM systems and real-time camera calibration technologies. Kartik's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering and a Master's in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a B.Tech. in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
