Simon Helbling

Simon Helbling is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in Industrie 4.0 and IoT, currently working at Autexis IT AG since January 2021. Previously, Simon held senior engineering roles at Oerlikon from March 2015 to January 2021, where responsibilities included product development and architecture for flagship products, alongside specifying and implementing software for SCADA systems and PLCs. Simon also contributed as an Electrical Engineer at Oerlikon, focusing on product development in New York and backend/frontend architecture for SCADA systems. Early experience as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Sulzer Metco involved electrical hardware design and prototype testing.
