Abi Varela

Abi Varela is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in people operations and human resources management. Currently serving as the People Operations Senior Manager at Authentic Brands Group since January 2023, Abi previously held roles such as People Operations Manager and People Operations Lead at Detect and IDEO.org, respectively. In earlier positions, Abi contributed as a Human Resources Generalist at IDEO.org and Human Resources Specialist at Atlantic Council, supporting a 170-employee non-profit organization. Abi's career began at Trustify as a Human Resources & Business Operations Senior Associate and included an internship at the National Archives. Abi holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Miami University, earned in 2015.
