Shelley Peters

Shelley Peters is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in brand licensing, retail marketing, and design operations within the apparel and home furnishings industries. Currently serving as the Director of Hanesbrands Licensing at Hanesbrands Inc. since October 2019, Peters leads licensing efforts for notable brands including Champion, C9, and Wonderbra. Previous roles include Director and Head of Design Operations at Kontoor Brands, Inc., where a go-to-market strategy for Wrangler and Lee was developed, and various leadership positions at VF Corporation overseeing merchandising and brand extensions. Peters also directed brand licensing at Furniture Brands International and established the outdoor furniture division at Thomasville Furniture Industries, showcasing a strong capability in driving brand growth and market strategy. Educationally, Peters holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Japanese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
